1. Tanker and Bridge

What inspired my painting was Vancouver’s great sense of scale. The bridges, ships and buildings dwarf passers by, yet in turn are humbled by their mountain backdrop. From any corner of our city, one can look up and catch a glimpse of snowy mountaintops or glittering ocean. How fortunate we are to be a stone’s throw away from the great outdoors.
