17. Planetarium in Autumn

No matter where I am in my apartment, I can always see the Planetarium and the soft purple mountains of the North Shore. The luminosity of autumn in Vancouver is very beautiful, and thus an inspiration for this painting. I used rich texture and vibrant colours to capture the warm glow and long shadows that cascade around the Planetarium in the late afternoon sun.
