I chose to paint "Stanley Park: Willows at Dusk" in the style of Lawren Harris because it brings a new perspective to one of Vancouver's most popular spots. The smooth shapes and vibrant colours allow us to take in the beauty of Stanley Park that might otherwise be missed in the hustle and bustle of life in the city.
