Vancouverites all know that rain is essential to the city's charm. Thus, painting a rainy-day scene of Vancouver seemed like a natural choice, and luckily I found the perfect artist to emulate. Contemporary Korean painter Hera Park is known for capturing both cityscape and raindrops, as if seen through a glass window. The contrast between the blurry background and the foreground raindrops creates a sense of depth for the viewer.
