Steveston is a quaint, historic fishing village in the southwest corner of Richmond. Here you can find more than 600 fishing boats (Canada’s largest fleet) which call Steveston Harbor home. On sunny days, many visitors flock to Steveston’s waterfront boardwalks to enjoy the scenery, the people and the food. The way post-impressionist Paul Cézanne uses his brushstrokes and colour was what inspired me to capture the beauty of this part of Richmond.
