When I moved to North Vancouver I was delighted to discover this view of the city from a local hilltop. Inspired by Vlaminck's broad brushstrokes and pure hues, I strived to capture the vivacious colours of the city lights awakening as the sun settled to sleep on the waters of Burrard Inlet.
